  Traditional & Digital
  Black & White Imagery

Camera
Currently about half of my work is the product of a traditional large format camera (Linhof Technikardan S45 4x5) using Schneider optics and Fuji film. The other half is derived from a Hasselblad medium format digital camera (H3D) and Hasselblad Optics.
Although there are those that would argue digital imagery cannot compete with traditionally captured imagery, I would respectfully disagree. The high end professional level cameras available today produce an image that is as good as or better than what is capable from the traditional film process. Particularly when one takes into account the extreme level of control you have over the digital image creation process.
I don't see the issue as traditional vs digital. They are both just tools at your disposal to create the image you see in your minds eye. The camera does not make the image, the person behind the camera does.
